Conductor Bar System
The conductor bar system provides continuous electrical power to rail-traveling cranes via copper or aluminum conductor bars installed along the runway. Collectors on the crane maintain contact with the bars to receive power throughout the travel distance. Protective covers prevent accidental contact.
