A hazardous chemical storage facility needed explosion-proof cranes for handling drums and containers of flammable chemicals. Compliance with ATEX Zone 2 and relevant TIS standards was required.
Solution
D2 Cranes supplied explosion-proof (Ex-proof) single girder cranes with all motors, hoists, switches, and electrical equipment meeting ATEX standards. Complete grounding and spark prevention systems were included.
