Challenge
A hydropower dam needed to replace its aging spillway gate crane. The crane had to withstand outdoor sun and rain exposure, lift heavy spillway gates, and include multiple layers of safety systems.
Solution
D2 Cranes designed an outdoor gantry crane with anti-corrosion and weather protection, tandem lifting for spillway gates, and multi-layer safety systems including wind speed sensors and emergency brakes.

Result
